The Rocky Creek Bridge on California’s Big Sur Highway has been a familiar subject to me for many years. I have been using it as a subject in my watercolor classes since I saw Rex Brandt’s watercolor demonstration in the mid 1960’s. He was using the three-step “California Style” of watercolor painting. It was fun painting this familiar subject in my multi-step approach to watercolor painting.
