It was the potholes that
caught my eye above the cascades behind the lodge at Tuolumne Meadows.
During the late Spring thaw, a torrent of water foams over the foreground,
sculpting the granite slabs. Now the water is low so the points
of interest are the start & stop of this 180° view of the
Dana Fork of the Tuolumne River. To heighten the visual interest,
I decided to put Mirror Lake as the point of departure, and Tuolumne
Meadows as the destination at the opposite end of this panoramic
composition.
