My Work is most often characterized by the generous inclusion of water and rocks. I love to balance the complimentary ephemeral qualities of water with the endless strength of rocks. Often the rocks are submerged, seen through the crystal clear water. In late summer the water level is low exposing fields of natural formed river rocks. My compositions characteristically feature simple foregrounds leading back to a complex center, In “river Rocks” I wanted the entry to be a bit more challenging before arriving at the quiet flow of the September stream.
