A favorite drive of mine, when the family vacations in Mendocino, is the loop just south of the Caspar Lighthouse.  The beach, the stand of eucalyptus, and especially the lagoon at the north end are all so picturesque.  I had wanted to paint the lagoon for years and I finally did.  It was accomplished during my show while I was serving as an artist in residence at Modesto Junior College.
