From the Dardanelles up, on the Sonora Pass, the gorges are simply gorgeous.Ý I have been inspired to paint a number of them, but the one just beyond the summit has had a special appeal.Ý The crisp geometry of the granite walls, the fresh high country air and the crystal clear water just begs to be painted.Ý Iím sure there will be many more gorge paintings.
