The pounding waves sculpt
the rocky coastline of the Big Sur region of the Central California
Coast. This weekend our visit featured especially large breakers
rolling onto the rocky beaches. I had never seen so much foam
on the surface of the sea. I decided to feature this character
of the water by doing another 180 degree view of the Big Sur shoreline,
just south of Carmel, California. The sea gull is my first attempt
at a bird in flight.
