Retirement is proving to be a wonderful time of life. It is good to finally have enough studio time, and my wife and I are even getting in some travel time. We enjoy road trips, we love to fly, but our favorite way to go is by cruise ship. Last autumn we cruised from New York up to Nova Scotia. We took the tour bus from Halifax out to Peggy’s Cove. I immediately recognized the site from paintings by my senior citizen students who had been there. It was now my turn to paint the view that I thought was most characteristic of this highly picturesque outpost in south east Canada..
